pixelwank Introduction
I started learning p5js at the end of 2021, which has taken over my world since. prior to getting into generative art, I was a musician for many years, playing in punk/rock bands touring around Australia and internationally. pixelwank started as a new adventure in creativity, exploring visuals after working with sound for many years. The name refers to ‘pixels’ — the medium of pixels on a screen, and ‘wank’, loosely taken from English/Australian slang for silly or stupid. “It’s all a bunch of pixelwank”. It’s all silly and we should have fun along the way :)

‘Wonk’ by pixelwank. Wonk explores odd forms of polygons — stacked to create a faux 3D effect — drawn with a faux handmade texture made up of dots with either curves, squares, or circular shapes.
